Welcome to What's On! Campus ("the App"). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you register for the App, we collect the following information:

• Name: To personalize your experience and for identification purposes.

• Preferred Email: For communication purposes. This could be your personal or work email. This is also critical for when you need to reset your Password.

• Arc Member Status (Yes/No): To offer tailored experiences and benefits. You can choose “No” if you wish to not disclose your Arc Membership. This doesn’t change the App’s user experience.

• Password: To secure your account.

• Student User ID: An 8-digit unique code you choose, "the User ID". The App's intended users are students only and hence, the User ID is rephrased as "the Student ID".  This identifier helps us manage your profile, event creation and event participation, if necessary. In the App when you are creating an account, this is the “Student ID”. On the App’s listings, specifically on Google Play Store or App Store the Student User ID might be called “zID”. The zID is the same as the Student User ID or Student ID or User ID and is created and submitted by you.

 

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in the following ways:

• To Provide and Maintain the App: Ensuring the App functions correctly and efficiently while trying to ensure a safe experience for all users

• To Communicate With You: Sending updates, notifications, and important information regarding your account and the App.

• To Improve the App: Analyzing usage data to enhance our services and features.

• For Security Purposes: Protecting your account from unauthorized access.

 

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties except as described below:

• Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as data analysis and email delivery.

Our App is ideally intended for students of University Campuses and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under 13, we will delete such information from our records.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy at the relevant place. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
